It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marjorie Mateline Darnell Bowman of Bloomfield, Kentucky, who passed away on November 9, 2024, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Walter and Opha Mae Taylor Darnell; her husband Dennie Bowman; her daughter Vicki Goodroad; her grandsons, Timothy Keeling, Jason Davis and Mark Goodroad; her sons-in-law, Tommy Helton and Evan Keeling, Jr.; her great grandchild Todd Keeling; and her siblings, Doris Helton, Cecil Darnell, James Darnell, Jerry Darnell and Charles Russell Netherton.
She is survived by: her daughters, Phyllis Helton of Bloomfield, Donna Keeling-Peak (Luther) of Louisville, Verna Lynn Davis (Timothy) of Harrisburg, Rita Carol Bowman of Taylorsville and Babette Bowman of Louisville; her son-in-law David Goodroad; and her close friend Jeannie Hunter. She is also survived by her ten grandchildren; her twenty-five great-grandchildren.
