He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmore Brown and Frances Coulter Brown; his wife Shirley Jean Brown; his son Eric Brown; and his brother Purdom Brown.
He is survived by: his children, Vicky Grubbs (Dennis) of Bardstown, Stuart Brown (Sandra Fields) of Bardstown and Timmy Brown (Rhonda) of Bloomfield; his brother Gene Brown (Lavonne) of Bardstown; and his daughter-in-law Sherry Brown of Mt. Washington. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
