She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Burns and Athenea Coulter Burns; her husband Roscoe Cheek; her daughter Barbara Cheek; her siblings, Harold Burns (Hazel) and Lucille Shewmaker (Kenneth); and her granddaughter Maria Cecil.
She is survived by: her sons, Bymun Cheek of Bloomfield, Billy Cheek (Karen) of Bloomfield and Donald Ray Cheek (Kim) of Bardstown. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and 12 great-great grandchildren.
