He was predeceased by: his parents, Gillman H. Sweazy and Matha Hardin Sweazy; his former wife Bonnie Prewitt Sweazy; and his son Shawn Sweazy. He is survived by: his wife Lora Diane Hood Sweazy; his daughters, Lora Koons (Mike) of Chaplin, Laticia Clark (Travis) of Raywick and Leisha Wininger of Cox's Creek; and his siblings, Deloris Corey of Perryville, Charlene Thompson (Mike) of Chaplin, Richard Sweazy (Rita) of Bardstown and Steve Sweazy (Carol) of Shepherdsville. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 10th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Monday, November 11th 2024 from 8:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Houghlin Funeral Home (119 Fairfield Hill Rd, Bloomfield, KY 40008). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
