It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Ann Woford of Bloomfield, Kentucky, born in Marion, Kentucky, who passed away on May 4, 2021, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer E. McCarty and Frances Stumph McCarty; her husband Oscar Ray Woford; her daughter Linda Cox; and her siblings, Geneva Bird, Christine Warner, Edward J., William L., James M. and Richard C. McCarty.
She is survived by: her sons, Albert Ray Woford (Monica) of Fairfield and David L. Woford (Lisa) of Bloomfield; her siblings, Georgie W. Penagraph of Lebanon, Fronia Bell Curtsinger of Lebanon, Bobby G. McCarty (Judy) of Lebanon, Roy T. McCarty of Taylorsville and Herman D. McCarty of Louisville; her son-in-law Vincent Cox; her grandchildren, Rebecca, Ryan, David Wayne, Chad Albert Woford, Nedlie, Karlee, Tanner and Daniel Lyon; and her great grandchildren, Mason and Jaxson.
