He was predeceased by: his parents, Abner Day and Zelphia Huff Day; his wife Grace Ray Day; and his daughters, Teresa Griffith and Bonnie Lewis.
He is survived by: his children, Paul Douglas Brock of London, KY, Barbara Collett of London, KY and Lisa Mosley of London, KY; his sisters, Armilda Belcher of Wallins, KY and Florence Murphy of Lancaster, KY; his grandson Jacob Howard of Harlan, KY; and his sister-in-law Chloe Stewart of Putney, KY.
The family asked that everyone attending the services please wear a mask for the safety of the family and friends.
