D.) and Chad Henry McGinnis; and his siblings, Vina Davis, Bea Chapman, Stella Chapman, Grace McGinnis, Naomi McGinnis, Lushie Preece, Hester McGinnis, James McGinnis, Everett Lee Young, Clarence McGinnis, Henry McGinnis and Enoch McGinnis.
He is survived by: his children, Angela McGinnis, Jason McGinnis (Bonnie), Greg McGinnis (Jeanette) and John McGinnis (Tammy); his stepson James Michael Whitt; his grandchildren, Zachary McGinnis (Dominique), Tessa McGinnis, Isabella McGinnis, Emmy McGinnis, Braxton McGinnis (Allie), Shanna Newsome, DeAndra Newsome (Brandon), Willie O'Brian, Faith O'Brian, Hope O'Brian, Astoria Elliott (Josh), Chad McGinnis, Tori McGinnis, Riley Joe McGinnis, Jayden McGinnis and Harper McGinnis; his great grandchildren, Ella Snodgrass, Easton McGinnis, Augustus McGinnis, Natalie Preston, Maci Preston, Jaxon McGinnis, Jace Newsome, CharLeigh Jo Runyon and Eli Elliott; and his siblings, Ollie McGinnis (Claudette), Kenton McGinnis (Arvie), Icle Copley (John), Ida Faye Goble and Mary Ellen Webb.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Thursday, November 14th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Wilson Funeral Home (1270 KY-2565, Louisa, KY 41230). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In Lieu of flowers the family ask donations be made to the Warfield Church of God in memory of Joe McGinnis.
