He was predeceased by: his parents, James Rice and Flora Daniels Gilkerson; and his wife Ruth Marie Jordan. He is survived by: his son Jimmy Lee Daniels; his stepson Anthony Childers; and his close friends, Mary Jean Osborn, Mae Mullett and Ivan Griffey.
