He was predeceased by: his mother Donna Kathleen McDowell (Wellman); his daughter Elizabeth Riley; his grandparents, Franklin, Arzie Wellman, James Guy and Alma Riley; and his stepfather Larry McDowell.
He is survived by: his father David Nelson Riley; his stepmother Geraldine Riley; his children, Pat Riley of Blaine, Johnathan Riley of Blaine and David Crothers of Blaine; his siblings, Samantha Cochran (Zach) of Blaine, Erica Riley-Farmer (Brian) of Blaine, Jeremy McDowell (Tiffany) of Louisa, Anthony McDowell (Kerri) and Shannon Dale McDowell (Angie) of Georgetown; and his close friend Rosie Perry. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
The family requests expressions of sympathy take the form of donation to Young Funeral Home to assist with funeral expenses.
