He was predeceased by: his father George I. Hensley; and his grandparents, Golden, Geneva Hensley, Eugene and Mildred Hamilton.
He is survived by: his wife Wanda Meyers Hensley; his daughters, Leslie Ann and Jenna Rae; his mother Judith Hensley; his parents-in-law, Allen and Ruby Meyers; his siblings, Ric (Sandy) and Cara Marshburn (Bobby); his sister-in-law Amanda Hatfield (Joe); his nieces and nephews, Ben (Victoria), Mack (Amy), Brandon, George, Noah (Emily), Dakota, Mitchell, Tanna, Emaleigh, Gracie, Dezzarae, Lola (Nathan), April Nicole (Cameron) and Hailey; his uncle Michael Hensley (Daylene); his aunt Fronia Smith; and his cousins, Jayme (Rob), Elise (Jeff) and Deanna Chapman Snyder (Teddy).
