With heavy hearts, we announce the death of David Chuck Halcomb (Blackey, Kentucky), who passed away on December 13, 2024 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parent Varge Halcomb; his siblings, Margaret Ann Halcomb, Opal Marie Caudill, Martha Elaine Maggard and James Caudill; and his grandmother Imogene Caudill.
He is survived by: his wife Jenny Halcomb; his daughter Brandy Johnson (Edgar); his siblings, William Bryan Halcomb (Deborah), Varge Halcomb Jr. (Peggy), Brenda Caudill (Loye) and Evon Gibson (Mike); his grandchildren, Shana Shepherd and Caden Shepherd; and his friends, Artie Ann Bates, Jan Browning, Deb Fields, Berma Matthews and Dan Fields.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 15th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Mt. Olivet Old Regular Baptist Church (14000 Hwy 588, Blackey, KY 41804). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
