He was predeceased by: his father Alvin Slone; and his sister Ollie "Big Sis" Adams. He is survived by: his mother Nellie Eldridge Slone; his children, Nora Towery (Johnathon Paul), Kayla Slone (Bryan Adams) and Alvin Joseph Slone (AJ); his sisters, Lora "Shorty" Quillen (Michael) and Fayetta Keel (Howard); and his grandchildren, Jaiden Bentley, Paisley Mullins, Tyson Mullins, Coner Slone and Carter Slone.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM at the Blackey Pentecostal Church. A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
