Though Allene may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Allene touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. She was predeceased by: her parents, Bessel Smith and Nora Smith; her son David Fields; and her siblings, Mason Smith and Fredia Cornett.
She is survived by: her son Matthew Cornett; her siblings, Tilvis "Tilk" Smith, Allen Smith and Mildred Smith; and her grandchildren, Zackary Cornett and Olivia Cornett.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM at the Blair Branch Old Regular Baptist Church (33 Blair Branch Rd, Jeremiah, KY 41826). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
