He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Lymon and Beatrice Hammons Broughton; his siblings, Wanda Lou Broughton, Shirley Diane Woodlee, Beatrice DeRhonda Fry and Billy Wayne Broughton; his nephew Billy Jason Broughton; and his brothers-in-law, Mike Kunkel and Gary Fry.
He is survived by: his wife Sheila Ann Broughton of Bimble; his son Jonathan Broughton (Tracy) of Richmond; his sisters, Brenda Sue Queen (Joe) of Morganton, GA, Geneva Brown (Bill) of Florence and Cecilene Kunkle of Barbourville; his granddaughters, Elin Beatrice and Nora Catherine Broughton; his parents-in-law, J. M. and Alice Carnes of Barbourville; his siblings-in-law, Kathy Bonita Carnes of Knoxville, TN, Betty Broughton of Barbourville and Doug Woodlee of Barbourville; and his aunts and uncles, Joyce of Bimble, Rev. Dennis Chesnut of Bimble, Cora of Bimble, Charles Harp of Bimble, Wanda Hammons of Barbourville and Freddy Hammons of Taylor, MI.
