She was predeceased by: her parents, Ford Brown and Dorothy Brown; and her siblings, Roy Brown, Joyce Lowe and Sundine Nottingham.
She is survived by: her husband Jessie McVey of Bimble; her children, Jessie McVey (Jennifer) of Turkey Creek, Scotty McVey (Kayla) of Bimble, Jeffrey McVey of Flat Lick, Jason McVey (Tonia Roark) of Bimble, Amy Elliott (Rick) of Bimble and Angel Bays (Kenneth) of Bimble; and her siblings, Bleve Brown of Bimble, Jamie Brown, Virginia Neal of East Bernstadt, Teresa Lambert (Tommy) of Hinkle, Debbie Simmons of Barbourville, Ruby Broughton (Quentin) of Barbourville and Heather Melfi (William) of Brownstown, Michigan.. She is also survived by twenty-one grandchildren along with a host of other relatives and friends.
Friends will be received at the Cobb-Hampton Funeral Home on Sunday evening from 6:00 until 9:00 p. m. and on Monday from 12:00 noon until the hour of service at 2:00 p. m.
