He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd West Sr. and Ola Young West; his son George Alan West; and his siblings, Floyd West Jr. of James Russell, A. J, Marie West and Unice West.
He is survived by: his wife Thelma Woods West; his children, Phillip David West (Beth Ann) of Manchester, KY, Bryon Russell West (Connie) of New Tazewell, TN and Patricia Reid (Tim) of Manchester, KY.; his sisters, Brenda Phillips of Big Creek, KY and Margaret Adams of Harriman, TN; his grandchildren, Jacob Hunter West, Laura Beth West, Alan Reid, Adam Reid and Rochelle West; and his great grandchildren, Sebastian Reid, Piper Reid, Georgia Reid and Harrison Reid.
