With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sylvia Jane McCarty of Big Clifty, Kentucky, born in Louisville, Kentucky, who passed away on April 9, 2022 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her father James Gore; her former husband Donald Dennison; and her sister Brenda Gore Waterbury. She is survived by: her husband Billy McCarty; her sons, Brian Dennison and Adam Dennison; her stepsons, Brent Dennison, Bart Dennison and Wendell McCarty (Kathy); and her brother Ronald Gore. She is also survived by two grandchildren; ten step-grandchildren and five step-great-grandchildren.
