She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Thornsberry and Draxie Childers Thornsberry. She is survived by: her husband Willie Higdon; her daughters, Ashley Sparks and Amber Mihm (Scott Sparks); her sister Teresa Skaggs; her grandchildren, Peyton and Kayson Sparks; her nephews, Dwayne Anderson, Daniel Skaggs and Cory Skaggs; and her cousins, Wanda Short, Donna Hamilton and Denise Stonesifer.
