It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph Wendell Drake (Big Clifty, Kentucky), born in Saint Paul, Kentucky, who passed away on May 22, 2020, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Wavie Drake, Sr.; and his siblings, Gary Drake, Eddie Drake, Shirley Martinek, Mary Leah Smallwood, Jeanette Drake and Stephanie Drake.

He is survived by: his mother Juanita Hazelwood Drake; his wife Monica Drake; his sons, Shane Drake, Jeremy Drake (Kristy) and Tyler Beauchamp (Sami); and his siblings, Wanda Hart (Walter), Pamela Drake (Bob Olsen), Gail Drake, Robin Pierce (Roger) and Keith Drake (Dessie).

Funeral service will be held in a private funeral mass due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
