He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Tincher and Lula Tincher (Fox); his wife Wanda Arlene Tincher (Woodrum); his son David Tincher; and his siblings, Robert Tincher, Mary Cole and Bill Tincher.

He is survived by: his daughters, Sandra Priest (JR) and Kathy Shoemake; his grandchildren, Nancy Lewis, Nicole King, Jessica Crowder, Douglas Shoemake, Jacquline Shoemake, Joshua Clardy (Charlene), Brandon Clardy, Ambre Nelson and Aaron Nelson; and his siblings, Mildred "Belle" Massey, Sylvia Adkins, Doc Tincher (Margaret) and Betty Nunn. He is also survived by great grandchildren; a great great grandchild.
