He is survived by: his mother Margie Lee Rainey; his wife Jaqueline Cecil Rainey of Big Clifty; his children, Gregory Rainey Jr. (Rachel) of Georgetown and Erica Nicole Pierce of Elizabethtown; his brothers, Ricky Rainey (Janice) of Leitchfield and Gary Rainey (Jennifer) of Big Clifty; and his grandchildren, Kaitlyn Nicole Boles, Ryleigh Ann Boles, Anniston Hope Rainey and Leiland Wallace Rainey.
