It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Dean Ulmer of Big Clifty, Kentucky, born in South Union, Kentucky, who passed away on March 12, 2024, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Guy Fugua and Thelma Hayes Fugua; her daughter Sandra Jean Burgett; her husband Alfred "Harpo" Ulmer; her siblings, Galen Fugua, Gladys Hubbard, Catherine Palmer and Ima Jean Drexler; and her daughter-in-law Alicia Burgett.
She is survived by: her children, Billy Burgett, Brenda Grant (Albert), Larry Burgett, Michael Burgett (Sherry) and Tommy Burgett (Becky); and her brother Paul Fugua (Sue). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews.
