He was predeceased by: his parents, James Lawrence and Effie Mae Sanders Hicks; and his siblings, Billie Poteet, James (Jimmy) and Jackie Lee Hicks.
He is survived by: his sister Betty Harp of Leitchfield; and his close friend Ann Clark of Big Clifty.
