He was predeceased by: his wife Helen Lack Fout. He is survived by: his children, Nancy Perry of Big Clifty, KY, Kay Knight (Ray) of Carlinville, IL, Judy Smith (Jerry) of Cecilia, KY and James "Terry" Fout (Sonjia) of Cecilia, KY. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren.
