He was predeceased by: his parents, Beecher Hardwick and Myrtle Bailey Hardwick; and his brother John Hardwick. He is survived by: his wife Chady Louise Salisbury Hardwick; his sons, Bret Hardwick (Judy Ann) of Lexington, KY and Brad Hardwick (Renea) of Clemson, SC; his brother Jim Hardwick (Claudia) of Morehead, KY; his grandchildren, Anna Vanhoose (Jeremy) and Thomas Allen Hardwick (Emily); and his great grandchildren, Molly, Samuel Vanhoose, Lola and Chloe Hardwick.
