He was predeceased by: his parents, Bert Stratton and Velva Lowe Stratton; and his sisters, Joyce Collins, Maxine Sutton and Betty Hall.
He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Robinson Stratton; his sons, Brian Stratton (Carol) of Durham, NC and Jeffrey Stratton (Patty) of Harold, KY; his grandchildren, William Stratton, Andrew Stratton, Savannah Meade Basham (Dakota) and Alex Meade; and his great grandchild Annie Basham.
A funeral service was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the Betsy Layne Freewill Baptist Church.
