He is survived by: his wife Marcella Hurd Hays; his sons, Matthew Brian Hays (Samantha) of Pikeville, KY and Kevin Bernard Hays of Lexington, KY; his granddaughter Lilyan Rose Hays; and his siblings, Craig Hays of Betsy Layne, KY, Cecil Clark, Jr. (Jean) of Versailles, KY, Gary, Charlene Clark of Prestonsburg, KY, Craig Hayes of Betsy Layne, KY, Kenneth Ray Clarke (Jeanne) of Lexington Ky, Carol Rice of Westfield, IN, Vanessa Clark of Harold, KY., Patty L. Hays (Gormond) of Harold, KY. and Alice Faye Chapman (James) of Pikeville.
