He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley B. Clark and Martha Dean Randolph Clark; and his siblings, Frankie Lee Clark, Bobby Clark and Gloria Clark.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Ann Godbey Clark; his children, Franklin Gene Clark of Bethelridge, Charlene June Hall of Science Hill and Jenny Lavon Girdler of Science Hill; and his siblings, Chester B. Clark of Somerset, Dwayne B. Clark of Somerset, Lavene Baker of Cincinnati and Betty Harness of Indianapolis. He is also survived by three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
