He is survived by: his wife Susan Haste (Denney); his son Scott Haste of Science Hill; his stepson Dylan Haste of Bethelridge; his daughters, Shelia Gregory of Science Hill and Tessa Haste of Somerset; and his siblings, Vurnes "Dee" Haste (Helen) of Bardstown, Hershel Haste (Judy) of Science Hill, James Thomas "Tank" (Rose Haste), Donald "Donnie" Eugene Haste of Bronston, Geraldine Hines and Nadeen Worley (Danny) of Bronston. He is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
