He was predeceased by: his parents, Dale Pence and Nellie Pence Pence; his brothers, Cecil Pence (Geneva Tibbs Pence), Earl Pence and Lloyd Pence; and his brother-in-law Carl Stone.
He is survived by: his wife Bessie Little Pence of Bethany, Kentucky; his children, Paul O. Pence, Jr. (Donna) of Campton, Carl Daniel Pence (Garnett) of Bethany, Kentucky and Vivian Dickey (George) of Bethany, Kentucky; his grandchildren, Paul David Pence (Jaime) and Amanda Pence Laudenschlager (Ryan); his great grandchildren, Michael David Pence and Odin Paul Laudenschlager; and his sister Opal Pence Stone of Frankfort, Kentucky..
