He is survived by: his wife JoElla Whitaker Cope; his children, Gregory Roy Cope, Sandra Faye Renfro (Glen), Rhonda Jo Morrison (Tod), Melissa Kay House (Jim), Melinda Lou Boyers, Doug Cope and Shelley Cope; and his grandchildren, Jeremy Hill, Dustin Morrison, David Wolfe, Cassandra Wolfe, Nathaniel Boyers, Jacob Cope, Zachary Cope, Lindsey Hays, Aaron Renfro, Elizabeth Boyers, T. J. Moore, Katie Moore, Katie Cope, Erica Steele, Lauren Cooper and Barry Cope Jr.. He is also survived by several great grandchildren.
