He was predeceased by: his parents, Pallis Bowling and Ophia Napier Bowling; his wife Velma Wilson; his siblings, McKinley Bowling, Jim Bowling, Homer McKinley and Mary Campbell; his nephew Randy Bowling; his stepdaughter Belinda Trumbo; and his grandson Stevie Fugate.

He is survived by: his stepchildren, Dorsey Ray Daniel (Sharon) of Corinth, KY, Gary Daniel (Karen) of Berry, KY, Ron Daniel, Jean Reid of Sunbury, OH and Bess Biason of Ojai, CA.; his grandchildren, Holly Ward, Michael Daniel, Heather Phillips, Hunter Kelley, John Daniel, David Daniel, Joe Daniel Paul Daniel, Ryan Trumbo, Jared Trumbo, Elisa Biason, Chad Trumbo, Jeff Fugate and Chris Biason; and his nephews, John Bowling and Ralph Bowling.
