It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Alva Stone of Berry, Kentucky, born in Pendleton County, Kentucky, who passed away on March 16, 2025, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence L. Stone and Corrine L. Gill Stone; his wife June Rose Berninger Stone; and his brother Calvin Leroy Stone. He is survived by: his daughters, Rebecca Martin (Ed) of Newnan, GA, Laura Stone of Celina, TX and Kimberly Forman (Nathan) of Union; his sisters, Carlene Caldwell of Butler, Marilyn Weatherford of Covington and Willena Beagle of Lexington; and his daughter-in-law Brenda Stone of Versailles. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; one great great-grandchild.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 21st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home (500 N Main St, Williamstown, KY 41097). A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 21st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Hospice of Hope, 909 Kenton Station Dr. Maysville, KY 41056.
