He is survived by: his sister Emma Jean Miller; his wife Ruby Joseph; his sons, William Michael Joseph and Jason Joseph; his stepson Eddie Guerrero; his daughter April Napier; his stepdaughter Tina Kinman; and his siblings, Vonda Bailey (Chuck), Betty Sallee (Bobby), Genevieve Hood (Ron), Ella Rhea Smith (late Arlan), Glenna Joseph (Mike), Rita Mae Spencer (Junior) and Roger Joseph (late Charlotte). He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 21 nieces and nephews.
