With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Wayne Short of Berea, Kentucky, who passed away on January 7, 2025 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James C. Short and Rosie Mae Mounce Short; his daughter Teresa Short; and his siblings, Charles Short, Geraldine Lowder and Leslie Ray Short.
He is survived by: his children, Robert Short (Lynn) and Becky Short; his grandchildren, Trinity Allen and Carrie Masters; his great grandchildren, Keira Oquaye, Preston Short and Andrew Short; and his siblings, James Short (Peggy), Keith Short (Carolyn), Kenneth Short (Sharon) and Della Casteel. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Lakes Funeral Home (203 N Dogwood Dr, Berea, KY 40403). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
