He was predeceased by: his father Thomas J. Blackburn; his grandparents, Herman and Flora McFarland; and his brothers, Jeff and Terry Kindred.
He is survived by: his wife Nellie Vaught Blackburn; his daughter Crystal Blackburn; and his sisters, Lori Miracle (Jeff) and Sue Kindred. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
