He was predeceased by: his wife Charlene Freeman Bruce; and his parents, Alfred Bruce and Flora Smitty Bruce. He is survived by: his children, Tommy Wayne Bruce, Richard Alan Bruce and Cathy Leigh Dogan; and his sister Bobbie Gail Gambrel.
