She was predeceased by: her parents, Lyle Prewitt and Bertha Payne Prewitt; and her brothers, Donald, Douglas and Harold Prewitt.
She is survived by: her children, Carol Merritt Courtney of Richmond, KY, Earl Merritt (Susan) of Berea, KY, Kenneth Merritt (Rebecca) of Richmond, KY and Kimberly Merritt Lakes (Kevin) of Berea, KY.; her siblings, Pauline DeVary of Winchester, KY, Faye Edington of Frankfort, KY, Bob Prewitt of Richmond, KY and Dorothy Smith of Berea, KY.; and her grandchildren, Eric Courtney (Kamryn), Tori Terry, Ashley Sharp (Michael), Courtney Mize (Brian), Kelsey Merritt, Joshua Merritt (Kriston), Jeremiah Merritt, Christopher Lamb (Nikki), Kennedy Lamb and Ryker Lamb.
