Though Melody may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Melody touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clinton Helton and Jean Whitley Helton; and her brother Alan Helton. She is survived by: her daughters, Staci Carpenter (David) of Berea and Traci Ramsey (Dwayne) of Mt Vernon; her grandsons, Michael Carpenter (Brittany) of Berea and John David Carpenter of Berea; her great grandchild Charlotte Rose Carpenter; and her siblings, Clint Helton, Sheila King (Tim), Bonnie Webb (Tony) and Gale Zoller (Fred).
