He is survived by: his wife Geneva Howard Blanton; his children, Marshall Patrick Blanton (Jennifer) and Martina Renee Blanton; his sister Jackie Onkst; and his grandchildren, Caleb Blanton, Joshua Blanton (Whitney), Rachel Ramey and Rebecca Ramey.
