He is survived by: his mother Mary Betz; his wife Lila Rogers; his daughters, Kaitlyn Rogers (Martha Close) of Kansas City and Katrina Rogers of Berea, KY; his siblings, Phyllis Bush of Pennsylvania, Donna Swallows of Fulton, KY, James Phillip Rogers, Jr. of Covington, KY and Michael James Rogers of Mayfield, KY; his siblings-in-law, Brian Lawson of Richmond, KY and Nikki Lawson of Berea, KY; and his nieces and nephews, Emily Gliessiner of Berea, KY and Raylan Jeffery "Little Jeff" Lawson of Berea, KY.
