He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Jones and Margaret Jane Rose Jones; and his grandson Robert Treyton Jones. He is survived by: his wife Darlene Tankersley Jones; his children, Lindsey (Timothy Bullock) and Robert "Nic" (Emily Jones); his grandchildren, Tristen Dortch, Jesse Dortch, Hayden Jones and Easton Jones; his stepgrandchildren, Brooklyn and Cameron Bullock; and his sisters, Carolyn (David Thacker) of Mt. Vernon, KY, Darlene (Claude Reynolds) of Crab Orchard, KY and Barbara Perez of South CarolinaHost.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Valley Baptist Church (4482 Copper Creek Rd, Berea, KY 40403). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
