He was predeceased by: his father Mayhugh Edward. He is survived by: his children, Hugh Hite (Margaret) and Leigh Ann Roberts; his siblings, Richard L. Hite, Jayne C. Valentine and Nancy K. Miracle; his grandchildren, Isaac E. Hite, Timothy H. Hite, Mandy Durr, Griffin Roberts and Edye Roberts; and his great grandchildren, Artie Tipton, J. R. Tipton and Josie Lamb.
