Howard Weston Frasier Obituary
Howard Weston Frasier, a man who lived life with a hearty laugh and a twinkle in his eye, passed away on July 27, 2023, after a brief but valiant battle with cancer. Born on June 4, 1950, in Ithica, NY, to the Twyla Jane Frasier, and the late Weston Whitney Frasier. Howard's journey led him to Mt. Vernon, KY, where he spent his final years surrounded by loved ones and the great outdoors, he so cherished.
Howard was a proud patriot, serving his country with honor and integrity as a Marine for four years. After his military service, he continued to serve his community working at the Bluegrass Army Depot for 32 years until his retirement.
Howard was a man who loved to laugh and make others laugh. He was the life of every party, the teller of tall tales, and being Santa every chance he could. His humor was infectious, and his spirit was as bright as the summer sun. He was a man who could make a room full of people erupt into laughter with a single quip, a man who could lighten any mood with a well-timed joke. He was funny, friendly, and selfless, always putting others before himself.
Howard is survived by his loving wife, Annette Frasier, who was his rock, his partner in crime, and his best audience. Their love story was one for the ages, filled with laughter, adventure, and mutual respect. He also leaves behind his mother, Twyla Jane Frasier, his children, Candy Cable, Alice Frasier, Damara (James) McArthur, and Howie Frasier, his sister, Sandra Palmer, and his grandchildren, Siera Cable, Corey Cable, Dayle Cable, Rayleigh Frasier, McKinley Frasier, Atlynn McArthur, Cassidy, McArthur, and Ellie Rose McArthur, and one great grandson, Walker. He is also survived by two sisters-in-law, Penny (Smokey) Carey, Celeste Hall, and many nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
In the end, Howard Weston Frasier was a man who lived life to the fullest, who loved deeply, and who laughed heartily. He was a man who made the world a brighter, funnier, and better place. He will be remembered not for his battle with cancer, but for his battle to make everyone around him smile.
