He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel Vincent Halcomb and Mamie Alice Moore Halcomb; and his brothers, William Henry and Raymond Halcomb. He is survived by: his close friend Kathleen Alexander; his children, Jeffery Lee Halcomb (Susan) of Deland, Florida, Theresa Gail Wiles (Randy) of Richmond, Vince Edward Halcomb (Alicia) of Maryland and Libby Jean Johnson (Billy) of Crab Orchard; his grandchildren, Candi, Jennifer, Scot, Tyler, Heather and Billy Jr. Sixteen; and his siblings, Eugene "Gene" Halcomb (Sue) of Brodhead, Evelyn Rowlett, Stella Marie Halcomb Burke, Mary Catherine Halcomb Adams and Vivian Halcomb Bishop.
