It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Helen M. Danser in Berea, Kentucky, born in Dawson Springs, Kentucky, who passed away on May 1, 2024, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Helen had on those she encountered along her journey. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Maurice Lisanby and Louise Thorn Lisanby; her husband Frank Otero; and her brothers, William, Junior, Freddie and David Lisanby.

“My heart goes out to Helen's family. I know that Helen loved her husband and her family dearly. She worked tirelessly for her Indian Community. Helen was also part of the CARF family and one of my mentors. Helen and I have shared laughs, hopes, dreams, and tears over our 16+ year friendship and I will truly miss her.
