He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Hammonds Sr. and Helen Louise Pack Hammonds; his son Frank McClellen Hammonds II; and also, Harold Hammonds Jr. and Jack Hammonds.
He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Justice Hammonds; and his children, Robert Hammonds of Richmond and Angela Howard (James) of Berea. He is also survived by in-laws, nieces, nephews, family and friends.
