He was predeceased by: his mother Minnie Bates Yancey; his daughter Laurel; and his sister Sonya. He is survived by: his father Doyle Yancey, Sr.; his wife Penny Saylor Yancey; his children, Andrea Anderson (Luke), Emily Vaughn (Mike), Joe Lake (Valerie) and Chris Quinley (Catherine Young); and his brothers, Garrett Yancey and Todd Yancey. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren; as well as numerous relatives and friends.
