He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Pearson and Laura Himes Lunsford; and his stepfather Jerry Lunsford. He is survived by: his wife Pearl McKinney Himes; his sons, Justin Himes (Kayla) and Dakota 'Cody Himes; his sisters, Kathy Bryant (Joe), Kim Anglin (Arthur) and Kim Sharpe (Jimmy); his grandchildren, Paige, Hunter and Houston Himes; and his sister-in-law Mary Lou Powell.
