She was predeceased by: her parents, James Leslie and Minnie VanWinkle (Campbell) of Cave Springs; her husband Walter Ballinger; and her siblings, Ronald Lee Van Winkle, Aileen Whitaker, Beulah VanWinkle, Carol Ballinger and James Danny VanWinkle.
She is survived by: her children, Dale Ballinger (Brenda), Hank Ballinger (Nancy), Pat Dean (Charlie) and Tonya Edwards (Stacy); her grandchildren, Jessica Willis, Rachel Day, Sarah Anglin, Melinda Harris, Leah Lowe, Jared Blair, Paige Edwards and Kenton Edwards; her siblings, Eddie VanWinkle, Larry VanWinkle, Joyce Gatliff and Jean Isaacs; and her grandsons, Kyle Willis, Johnathan Day, Brad Anglin, Stewart Harris and Seth Lowe. She is also survived by 15 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Lakes Funeral Home and Cremation Services (203 N Dogwood Dr, Berea, KY 40403). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 25th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
